Samuel Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations"

Samuel Huntington's "Clash of Civilizations" is theory that presented in 1993 in a Essay and letter expanded into a book titled "The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order." This theory suggested that post-cold war conflicts will not be happened primarily base on Ideology and Economics, rather will be  based on Culture and Civilization.

Huntington argued that the world is divided into 7 major distinct civilizations (Western, Islamic, Confucian, Hindu, and others), each with it on distinct culture, tradition, historical heritage, and civilization. This civilization likely to come to conflicts with one another due to their distinct culture, tradition, and civilization.

Critics of Huntington's theory argued that it oversimplifies the complexities of global politics and cultural interactions, and that it can lead to a deterministic view of conflict. They contend that it neglects the role of individuals, economic factors, and international institutions in shaping world events.
